Accessibility

The KQ exhibition spaces are largely accessible. Exception: The historic Brahms Museum building.

 

Air Quality

Our exhibition spaces are equipped with air purifiers for optimal air quality.

Admission fee

reg. €11 / red. €8

 

Reduced admission for school pupils, students (13 to 28 years), trainees, participants in the Federal Volunteer Service (BFD), Voluntary Social Year (FSJ), Voluntary Cultural Year (FKJ), the unemployed, recipients of citizen's allowance, people with disabilities, holders of the Hamburg Card, Kulturvorteil Theatergemeinde, and engagement cards from all German states.

 

Family admission

Children up to 6 years: free, children 7 to 12 years: €2, up to 2 accompanying persons: €8 each.

 

Free admission for accompanying persons of people with disabilities, holders of FreikartE, members of ICOM, the Friends of the Theater, and composers' societies.

Guided tours at the KQ

The KQ offers a comprehensive selection of guided tours. For example, you can choose a tour focusing on a specific composer, an overview tour covering either the 18th or 19th centuries, or a combination of both.

 

Tour duration: 45 minutes

Group size: max. 15 people

Fee: €60 per unit (1 group for 45 minutes), reduced price €45

The KQ is located on Peterstraße (Hamburg Neustadt), which is closed to cars, and can be reached via three surrounding main roads:

  • Ludwig Erhard-Straße (in the south)
  • Holstenwall (in the north-east)
  • Kaiser Wilhelm-Straße (in the northwest)
